So I'll be the first to tell you, I LOVE the "Twilight" series. Although I got into the books rather late when I started reading them, I just couldn't put them down. I fi,nished the whole series in under a month.  Now, with that being said I had high expectations for the first movie only to be shot down because it didnt follow the book at all!   So I was a little skeptical about the sequel of course.  I wasnt sure if Kirsten Stewart could go from finding love to being this mindless zombie whose heart and life is shattered by the love of her life, or if Taylor Lautner could play the amazingly sexy werewolf that Jacob Black was in the story. And guys they both pulled it off!

For those who have read it already know that throughout the rest of the series is all action and not as dry as the first.  Also the second story sets up the rest of the series and brings in a new 'evil' to the main characters lives as well as new secrets that are unraveled. The acting in this movie was good, not amazing, but good.  As far as following the book, this one was way better than the first one,  This one will definitly have you recalling some of the scenes straight from the book as if you were reading it again.

For those who havent read the stories (shame on you!), this one centers on Bella and Edward.  Their love for each other continues, but something is off.  Bella's now officially 'older' than Edward from the age he was turned.  She dislikes it and shes still wants to be a vampire so they can be together forever,  An accident occurs and her life is put in jeopardy in the Cullens residence.  Edward comes to the decision that the Cullens should move and now Bella is forced to live without Edward, and she becomes this mindless person who does nothing, until she catches up with Jacob again, and they hit it off and hang out regularly.  At that point something strange happens to Jacob and he disappears for weeks.  She then finds out hes a werewolf.  Then Alice reappears and they go to save Edward before he tries to kill himself because he thinks Bella is dead.  They then end up in Italy where they meet the Volturi and have to await judgement on Bella, Edward and Alice.  They then have to change Bella in the near future or else.

Overall, I gave this movie four boners up because it was way better than the first film.  It followed the guidelines of the story, as well as having good special effects and action sequences. There's major eye candy walking around in this film.  But, also it's a good mix of action, romance, drama and lust.
